Marshall Tennis falls to VCU Rams

The Rams defeated the Herd 4-1 in Saturday’s contest.
HUNTINGTON W.Va - Marshall tennis was defeated 4-1 by the VCU Rams on Saturday, March 6 in Huntington, W.Va.

Liz Stefancic and Jutte Van Hansewyck kicked off the day with a doubles win. But VCU's Shivani Manjanna/ Lara Van Der Merwe won court three and the Ram's Noumea Witmus/ Paolo Exposito took court two.

Marshall kicked off the singles portion of the match with a victory after Anna Smith defeated Luminita Tutunaru, 6-2, 6-1. VCU took the next three sets winning the contest.
