Marshall was ranked #3 in this last week's ITA Atlantic Region weekly rankings.

In last week's contest against VCU Liz Stefancic and Jutte Van Hansewyck defeated their doubles match up, Ciuca/Tutunaru, 6-3.

Anna Smith also won her singles match, 6-2, 6-1 against VCU.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT: VT

Virginia Tech dropped its last match to No. 49 ranked Notre Dame, 4-1 last weekend. The Hokies' Nina Sorkin and Annie Clark picked up a 6-3 win in the doubles portion of the contest. Sorkin was the only Hokie to win in singles, 6-4, 6-3.

SERIES HISTORY
Marshall is 0-7 against the Hokies.

UP NEXT
The Herd hits the road this weekend to battle Charlotte and Presbyterian in Charlotte, N.C. Marshall faces Charlotte on March 13 at 12 p.m. and Presbyterian on March 14 at 1 p.m.
