No. 6 Herd Men’s Soccer Welcomes Georgia Southern on Senior Day

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The No. 6 Marshall University men's soccer team (7-2-3, 2-1-3 Sun Belt) is set to host the Georgia Southern Eagles (1-11-1, 0-5-0 Sun Belt) on Sunday at Hoops Family Field on Senior Day.
PROMOTIONS
MU will honor seven seniors on after Sunday's contest on Senior Day. Those being honored will be Gabe Sitler, Oliver Semmle, Vinicius Fernandes, Ibrahima Diop, Joao Souza, Collin Mocyunas and Milo Yosef.
Also on Sunday, hotdogs will $2 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Herd drew 1-1 at Georgia State on Wednesday.
Junior Adam Aoumaich tallied his first goal of the season in the match on an assist by graduate student Vinicius Fernandes.
Freshman Matthew Bell leads the SBC with eight goals this season, ranking 17th in the nation. The Jamaican forward also has 16 points, second most in the conference.
Redshirt senior Milo Yosef is second in the league with seven goals this year.
Marshall's +17 goal differential is the second best in the conference and 18th in NCAA Division I men's soccer. The team's .838 goals against average leads the SBC.
Graduate student goalkeeper Oliver Semmle's .838 goals against is second in the Sun Belt as his three shutouts rank second.
Aoumaich ranks second in the conference with six assists this season.
Marshall has been in the top 25 rankings every week since Oct. 15, 2019.
