Jones Secures Top-10 Finish at Georgia State Invitational

Senior shot even-par in final round
DULUTH, Ga. – The Marshall University men's golf team finished action at the Georgia State Invitational on Tuesday with senior Tyler Jones finishing tied for 10th at the event.
"Tyler wrapped up another great week with a top-10 finish," Herd men's golf head coach Matt Grobe said. "Ryan (Bilby) played solid and barely missed a top-20 finish. Joseph (Kalasky) played great today. We are looking forward to getting back to Huntington and getting some work in for the Dayton Flyer Invitational."
Jones closed out the event in a tie for 10th as he closed out the last 18 holes even-par (72) with a pair of birdies.
Redshirt sophomore Joseph Kalasakey birdied four holes in the final round finishing one-over par (73).
