Marshall won the doubles point
BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Marshall University tennis team (5-4) fell on Sunday at Virginia Tech, 6-1.

"We are going to be working on singles this week after our last two matches," Marshall tennis head coach John Mercer said after the loss.

The Thundering Herd dropped the first match of doubles on court two. Then on court three, Madi Ballow and Jutte Van Hansewyck battled to pick up a 6-4 win over Dariya Radulova and Tamara Barad Itzhaki. The duo of Liz Stefancic and Emma Vanderheyden clinched the doubles point for the Herd with a 6-3 victory over Erika Cheng and Chhinda Som on court one.
