Tennis Heads to Texas for Two Matches

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University tennis team (7-5) heads to Denton, Texas, to take on the North Texas Mean Green and the FIU Panthers this weekend.

HAVE YOU HERD?
The Herd took two of its three matches last weekend, falling to WVU 5-2, and defeating Radford 6-1 and the University of Charleston 7-0.

Emma Vanderheyden and Jutte Van Hansewyck each won all three of their singles matches. Van Hansewyck also took all of her doubles contests.

Liz Stefancic, Sophia Hurrion and Madi Ballow each took a pair of singles contests last weekend.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT: North Texas
The Mean Green is 7-2 this season.

UNT is coming into the contest after splitting a pair of duals last weekend falling to Liberty and defeating South Florida.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT: FIU
The Panthers are 5-2 this season and are on a three-match win streak.

FIU is led by Yasmine Kabbaj, who is 5-1 in singles and ranked #104.
