Softball Doubleheader at Akron Postponed

Games to be rescheduled

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall softball's doubleheader at the Akron Zips originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 29, has been postponed due to weather. The Herd and the Zips are working on rescheduling the contests.

Akron and the surrounding area received snow over the weekend. The Zips had a three-game series scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 25-26, at Kent State and had to postpone the series finale on Saturday.

Marshall is coming off a three-game sweep over the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders at Dot Hicks Field, March 25-27. The Herd returns to the field, April 1-3, at home as the Charlotte 49ers come to Huntington for a three-game series in Conference USA action.
