PREGAME NOTES
The Thundering Herd have effectively limited turnovers this season, leading the conference with just 14.2 giveaways. The team's efficiency will be tested against an ODU team leading the league with 21.1 turnovers forced per game.

ABOUT THE MONARCHS
The Monarchs are 3-2 in SBC play, and 11-7 overall, coming off a win over Georgia Southern in overtime Thursday evening. Leading scorer Makayla Dickens (11.4 PPG) has hit 39 three pointers this season, which is top in the conference.
ODU were picked to finish second in the Sun Belt. Additionally, senior forward Amari Young was named to the All-Sun Belt Third Team.
Marshall and Old Dominion have met on 18 previous occasions as C-USA members. The Herd defeated the Monarchs in Norfolk last season, 64-48.
