Men's Golf Adds Bridges to Class of 2023

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall men's golf coach Matt Grobe announced the addition of Ohio product Ben Bridges to his Class of 2023.

Bridges comes to Marshall after a successful senior campaign at Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

"We are very excited to add Ben to our program," Grobe said. "Ben has been a very solid junior player in Ohio. We look forward to having him join us next fall."

Bridges inks with Marshall after a successful fall season at Mount Vernon in which he recorded eight rounds under par.

At the top of Bridges' accomplishments was setting a course record 12-under 60 at Chapel Hill Golf Club in Knox County (Ohio). Bridges also qualified for the Ohio Amateur.

Other accolades included being an OHSAA All-Ohio Second Team selection, as well as earning First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Area honors.
