HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – In the final home match of the regular season, Marshall's women's soccer team (6-8-1) plays a crucial match against Coastal Carolina (3-10-2)
Herd fans on Sunday can enjoy a women's and men's soccer doubleheader, with Herdtober Fest in between the matches.

PRE-MATCH NOTES
- Marshall has averaged over 800 fans per match at home in 2023, a number which leads the Sun Belt Conference.
- The Herd remains in the top 50 in the nation in goalkeeper saves per game (5.60).
- MU will close out the 2023 regular season at Louisiana next Thursday. The 2023 Sun Belt Conference Tournament is the following week in Foley, Ala.

- Coastal Carolina is 3-10-2 under first year Head Coach Jo Chubb.
- The Chanticleers have struggled to score in 2023, averaging under a goal per game (0.79). CCU is only giving up 1.79 goals per game however.
- Lou Martinet from France has been the catalyst offensively, scoring four goals and adding an assist.
