Marshall Men’s Basketball Continues Season at No. 16/16 Kentucky

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Men's Basketball team (2-3) heads west on I-64 for a clash against the No. 16/16 Kentucky Wildcats (5-1) on Friday in Lexington, Kentucky. The contest scheduled for 7 p.m. at Rupp Arena will be broadcast on the SEC Network.

PRE-GAME NOTES

This is Marshall's first game back on U.S. soil after playing three games at the Cayman Islands Classic.
Nate Martin closed out the tournament with back-to-back double-doubles against FIU and Oakland at the event. The junior forward has three this season in the first five games.
Kevon Voyles is lighting up the scoreboard early in the season as he's had 17 or more points in four of his first five games with The Herd.

Kentucky enters the contest with a 5-1 record and is currently ranked 16th in the USA Today Coaches Poll and AP Poll.

Antonio Reeves is averaging 18.2 points per game while making 40 percent of this three-point attempts this season.
