Herd Men Kickoff Final Home Stand against Georgia Southern

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University men's basketball team (21-6, 10-4 Sun Belt) begins its final home stand of the season on Thursday as the Georgia Southern Eagles (14-13, 7-7 Sun Belt) visit the Cam Henderson Center.

Thursday will be the Running with the Herd recognition night featuring a t-shirt giveaway for 1,500 fans and will be the team's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion game.

The Eagles enter Thursday night on a two-game win streak after taking down James Madison and Arkansas State las weekend.

Andrei Savrasov recorded double-doubles in both contests as he leads the team with 13.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game this season.

Georgia Southern turns the ball over just 11.3 times per game, third fewest in the Sun Belt Conference.
