ABOUT THE DUKES
A five-game winning streak has propelled JMU to clinching the Sun Belt regular season crown. The Dukes are alone at the top at 13-4, and own the tiebreaker over Troy, who JMU defeated 80-79 on Jan. 21.
Field goal defense and rebounding margin have been an integral part of the team's success. The Dukes are first in the conference in field goal percentage defense (35.9%) and are second in rebounding margin (8.0).
Kiki Jefferson is a big reason for the success of JMU. Jefferson is tied for first in the country in free throws made (183). Jefferson is first in the league with 18.7 points per game and is second in the league with 233 rebounds
