Marshall Women's Golf Set For GCU Invitational

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Marshall's women's golf team flew a long way to get to their first tournament of the 2023 spring season.

Once action starts on Monday, they are hoping the golf ball does the same.

Marshall's women's golf team kicks off the spring portion of its season on Monday at the GCU Women's Invitational, hosted by Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.

The 54-hole event, which takes place at GCU Golf Course, features 17 teams with Marshall being the lone East Coast team on the schedule.

Those competing for the Herd this week include Emily McLatchey, Hanna Shrout, Abbey Bull, Kylie Bowes and Olivia Kochan.

The first and second rounds start at 8 a.m. on Monday while the final round will start at the same time on Tuesday.
