HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Coach Tony Kemper's Thundering Herd (13-9, 6-5 Sun Belt) puts its four-game winning streak on the line Saturday against Georgia State (10-13, 4-7 Sun Belt).

- Prior to the game, the athletic department will be hosting the Sweetheart Clinic. The girls that participate will be given a free ticket to the game. While registration is closed, information on the 2023 Sweetheart Clinic can be found HERE:

PREGAME NOTES
- Four players finished with double figures in Marshall's win over App State Thursday (Roshala Scott - 22, Abby Beeman - 13, Mahogany Matthews - 12, Sydni Scott - 11). The last time four Herd players finished in double figures was Mar. 5, 2022
- Freshman Sydni Scott now has 98 career points for the Herd. The Prospect Park, Pa. native has made nine three-pointers in the last three games.
- With four blocks in Thursday's win, Mahogany Matthews has 44 this season, which is already seventh-best in a single-season in program history.
- During Marshall's four-game winning streak, Abby Beeman is averaging 13.0 points, 8.3 assists and 6.8 rebounds per game.

ABOUT THE PANTHERS
Georgia State enters Saturday at 10-14 and 4-7 in Sun Belt play. The Panthers are 1-9 in true road games this season.
GSU's Deasia Merrill leads the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 52.5 percent from the field. Merrill leads the team with 7.3 rebounds per game. Mikyla Tolivert is the team's leading scorer, with 14.4 points per game. Tolivert is also an 87.3 percent free throw shooter, second best in the league.
Unlike Marshall, the Panthers do not shoot from deep often, the team is 12th in the conference with only 13.4 three point attempts per game, nearly nine less per game than the Herd.
Marshall and the Panthers have only met once prior. On November 21, 1991, the Herd defeated Georgia State in a Thanksgiving tournament by a 66-61 score.
