Tour of Brazil Trip Outlined For Marshall Men’s Soccer

Herd fans can attend once-in-a-lifetime excursion or sponsor a player’s journey
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall men's soccer supporters have a unique opportunity to be part of the program's Tour of Brazil, which is scheduled for June 22-28.
Marshall supporters have the ability to sponsor a player's trip to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, which is set up in three tiers: flight sponsorship ($1,500), basic player sponsorship ($3,000) or full player sponsorship ($4,500), which covers both flight and trip costs.
Marshall men's soccer coach Chris Grassie said the trip is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for players to train in one of the world's most soccer-rich countries while also engaging in a team bonding event that builds for the future and has lasting impact on and off the pitch. Click HERE to donate.
"I am really excited about this group. They have what it takes to compete for a national championship," Marshall men's soccer coach Chris Grassie said. "I'm convinced that this trip will help us develop and gel in a way that will put us among the favorites to lift another national championship trophy."
Marshall is also offering several packages for those interested in joining the Thundering Herd on its journey. The packages include meals, lodging, ground transportation and access to the team's friendly matches, pro matches and excursions to Sugarloaf and Christ The Redeemer.
Cost for the packages is as follows: $4,000 for an individual, $7,500 for a couple and $14,000 for a family of four. This cost does not include flight accommodations or visa costs.
