Marshall Women’s Golf Finishes 11th at SBC Championship

McLatchey finishes in 21st to lead Herd participants
Final results
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Marshall women's golf finished up play at the Sun Belt Women's Golf Championship on Tuesday afternoon at LPGA International Hills Course in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Marshall finished in 11th place following the three-day event.
Sophomore Emily McLatchey led the Marshall contingent of golfers, ending her tournament in 21st place at 9-over par. McLatchey shot a 76 on Tuesday.
The tournament came down to an exciting finish with Louisiana-Monroe claiming the title over Texas State in a playoff after the two teams were tied after completion of regulation play.
ULM and Texas State remained all square through the first playoff hole before the Warhawks pulled out the title on the second playoff hole. Anna Andrysova's birdie on the 10th hole proved to be the difference.
Old Dominion's Leah Onosato claimed the tournament's individual title after finishing as the only player in the field in the red. Onosato finished at 2-under par for the tournament after a 73 on the final day.
