Herd Women's Golf Set Sights on Colonel Classic

Marshall set to take part in event, which is hosted by EKU
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall's women's golf team heads back to the course on Monday as action starts at the Colonel Classic, hosted by Eastern Kentucky University.
The 54-hole event features 36 holes on Monday and a final 18 on Sunday to determine the winners.
In all, there are 16 schools competing in the event and host Eastern Kentucky is the defending champion, winning last season's event by 22 strokes.
Teams in the field will tee off starting at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
For day one of competition, Marshall's contingent will be paired with Illinois State and Butler.

Scheduled to compete for Marshall: Abbey Bull, Katie Potter, Emily McLatchey, Kylie Bowes, Olivia Kochan
Teams participating: Marshall, Akron, Austin Peay, Ball State, Bellarmine, Belmont, Bradley, Butler, Cleveland State, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Georgia State, Illinois State, Morehead State, North Alabama, Ohio and Kentucky
