Bell Named to 2023 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Sophomore Marshall University men's soccer student-athlete Matthew Bell was to the 2023 Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy Watch List on Thursday.

Bell, the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year and a first-team all-conference awardee, tallied 10 goals last season, tied for the SBC lead, and was named to the league's preseason all-conference team.

The Hermann Trophy is presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club and is the nation's highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year as determined by the voting of Division I coaches who are members of United Soccer Coaches.
