Homecoming Kickoff Game-Time Set for 3:30p.m. on Sept. 30

Marshall takes on Old Dominion in the team’s first SBC battle of 2023
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall's Sept. 30 Homecoming matchup with Old Dominion will be a 3:30 p.m. kickoff, the Sun Belt Conference released on Monday.
The game, which will be broadcast by ESPN+, was announced as part of the 12-day window agreement between the Sun Belt and its television contract with ESPN.
"Homecoming is always a special time for us here at Marshall," said Christian Spears, Marshall's Director of Athletics. "We are excited for our alumni to be able to join us with a perfect kick time. This is an awesome way to open the conference season and we look forward to seeing our fans fill Joan C. Edwards Stadium."
Marshall's matchup with Old Dominion opens the 2023 Sun Belt Conference slate for the Thundering Herd, who is seeking to win the league title in just its second year competing in the SBC.
The Sept. 30 Homecoming is the earliest Homecoming that Marshall has had since 1977, which makes for a great Fall Saturday to enjoy in the festivities.
