HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Tennis Team continues action this Fall at the ITA Atlantic Regional in Charlottesville, Virginia, beginning on Thursday.

EVENT DETAILS
Dates: Thursday, October 17 – Tuesday, October 22
Location: Charlottesville, Va.
Participating Student-Athletes (4): Sophia Hurrion (Singles and Doubles), Aisling McGrane (Singles and Doubles), Emma Vanderheyden (Singles and Doubles), Nel Van Hout (Doubles)

Marshall heads to the ITA Atlantic Regional after competing at the UC/Pam Whitehead Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 4 and 5.

Action begins in Charlottesville with qualifying singles on Thursday. McGrane looks to qualify for the Main Draw in singles. The senior begins her run at 9:30 am against George Mason's Maya Bayat. A win over Bayat would see McGrane then face the winner of Georgetown's Natasha Kavarana and Navy's Kate Lee to reach the Main Draw.

Vanderheyden and Hurrion are already in the Main Draw for singles with Hurrion facing George Washington's Patricia Rogozoveca on Friday and Vanderheyden either receiving a bye into the Round of 32 or facing a TBD opponent from qualifying on Friday.

In doubles, Hurrion and Vanderheyden are slated for a matchup on Friday against Georgetown's Kavarana and Emily Novikov. McGrane and Van Hout are scheduled to face Old Dominion's Allison Isaacs and Mya Byrd on Friday.

2nd round of singles qualifying (16 matches outdoors)
Singles qualifying back-draw (16 matches indoors/outdoors)

1st round of main draw singles (32 matches outdoors)
1st round of main draw doubles (32 matches 8 game pro sets)
