CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Marshall University Tennis team closed action at UC/Pam Whitehead Invitational on Saturday in Cincinnati, Ohio.
"Good weekend for our first tournament," Herd Tennis Head Coach John Mercer said after play concluded.
In doubles against Miami (OH), Aisling McGrane and Nel Van Hout defeated Nishitha Saravanan and Lauren Joyce, 7-5.
The Herd then had Emma Vanderheyden win her singles contest in straight sets, 7-5, 7-5, against Cincinnati's Zeynep Erman and Meredith Riley registered her first collegiate win, 6-2, 6-3, over DePaul's Eleanor Cochran.
