Herd, ODU meet in ESPNU game with SBC East implications on the line
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall's Nov. 23 contest at Old Dominion has been set for 7:30 p.m. and will be shown on ESPNU, it was announced Monday afternoon.
The announcement comes in conjunction with the 12-day window for broadcast information, as determined through the Sun Belt Conference's television contract with ESPN.
The announcement of the ESPNU broadcast marks the fifth nationally-televised game of the 2024 season for the Thundering Herd.
The teams will be meeting for the 10th time overall, and it will be the fifth time the series has been played in Norfolk.
Currently, Marshall has a 3-1 record in games at S.B. Ballard Stadium with the last trip being a 12-0 win over the Monarchs in the opening season of Sun Belt play for both teams.
Marshall leads the all-time series 8-1 and has earned the win in each of the last six years over Old Dominion.
