Coach Juli Fulks
- On Apr. 12, 2024, Coach Juli Fulks became the ninth head coach in the history of the Herd.
- Fulks - the 2024 WBCA DIII Coach of the Year - joins Marshall with 400 career victories in 20 seasons, winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.
PRE-GAME NOTES
- Junior forward Meredith Maier scored a career-high 25 points Sunday against NKU. Her four three-pointers per game are tied atop the league lead after the first week of the season.
- Redshirt-freshman Timberlynn Yeast scored her first collegiate points Sunday with four points and adding four rebounds. Yeast missed last season due to injury but was a member of the SBC Championship winning squad.
- The Herd is fourth in the conference after two games with a .434 field goal percentage.
- Marshall and Elon have met on five previous occasions with the Herd leading, 4-1. MU won in North Carolina last season by an 84-77 margin.

ABOUT ELON
- Elon is 2-0 following home wins over in-state foes High Point and Gardner Webb.
- Three Phoenix players are averaging double figures in scoring after the two victories. Jayda Angel leads the trio with 17.5 PPG.
- After two games of playing first-year head coaches, Marshall faces an Elon team led by Charlotte Smith who is in year 14 with Elon, with an overall record 208-184.
