HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The eighth-ranked and 13th-seeded Marshall University Men's Soccer team (12-1-7) is set to host the NC State Wolfpack (10-4-5) at Hoops Family Field in the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament Round of 16 on Saturday. First kick is scheduled for 2 p.m.

- Marshall returns to the Round of 16 for the fifth time in the last six seasons after a 4-0 win over Furman on Sunday.

- Lineker Rodrigues dos Santos tallied a pair of goals to reach 12 for the season to become just the sixth player in program history to do so in a single year.

- All four of The Herd's goals came in the first half including three in the span of 1:35. Haruhi Taneda had a four-point match with his first goal and two assists. The freshman's bicycle kick goal was the number eight on SportsCenter Top 10.

- Between the sticks, Aleksa Janjic his ninth win and seventh clean sheet of the season, with the clean sheet putting him 10th all-time in program history in shutouts.

ABOUT THE WOLFPACK
- NC State's tournament run has featured 2-1 double-overtime victory over Charlotte in the First Round and a 2-0 win at fourth-seeded Georgetown on Sunday in the Second Round.

- Taig Healy has a team-high 18 points on six goals and a team-high six assists, with three coming in the NCAA Tournament.

- Just behind Healy are Hakim Karamoko and Donovan Phillip with 16 points apiece. Karamoko leads NC State with seven goals this season with Phillip scoring a goal in each of the team's contests against Charlotte and Georgetown.

- Logan Erb has been in goal for the team's first two NCAA Tournament matches. This season Erb has seen action in 12 matches, with 11 starts, winning five contests and registering three clean sheets.
