Herd Swimming and Diving to Host SBC Foe JMU

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Swimming and Diving team prepares for a Sun Belt Conference meet against the James Madison Dukes on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium.

The Herd swept the SBC weekly awards on Thursday with Kseniia Luniushina winning her first swimmer of the week award and Grace Kelsheimer winning her third diver of the week honor of the season.

The 400 Medley Relay team of Luniushina, Paige Banton, Madeline Hart and Audrey West finished with a time of 3:47.10 in the meet against Buffalo last weekend. It currently sits 10th fastest in program history.

Luniushina's 100 Backstroke lead-off split of 54.10 was a Fitch Natatorium record, beating the previous by over 1.5 seconds, and also sits third all-time in program history.
