HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall's women's basketball team (4-6) returns to the Cam Henderson Center Saturday, Dec. 21 for a 1 p.m. tip against Davis & Elkins (1-9).
Saturday's game will be a Holiday-themed game. Fans can receive free admission for bringing a teddy bear to toss on the court.

Coach Juli Fulks
- On Apr. 12, 2024, Coach Juli Fulks became the ninth head coach in the history of the Herd.
- Fulks - the 2024 WBCA DIII Coach of the Year - joins Marshall with 400 career victories in 20 seasons, winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.
PRE-GAME NOTES
- Marshall closes out non-conference play Saturday, with the Sun Belt opener looming after the week-long holiday break. The Herd opens SBC play at home against Texas State on Sunday, Dec. 29.
- The Herd is fifth in DI with 10.6 three-pointers per game. Marshall made 10 more behind the arc Wednesday against Cincinnati, the fifth-consecutive game with 10 or more triples.
- In addition to being the league's leading scorer, Aislynn Hayes is getting to the line more than any other player in the Sun Belt. Hayes has made 51 free throws this season, the most in the conference, 26th in DI.
- Marshall leads the all-time series, 4-0 over Davis & Elkins.

ABOUT DAVIS & ELKINS
- Davis & Elkins is 1-9 this season, 1-4 in Mountain East Conference play. The Senators are coming off its first win of the season, a 65-51 victory over Point Park Saturday.
- Senior Josiany Canales is leading the team in rebounds per game (5.6) and assists per contest (2.1).
- Head Coach Donna Carr is in her 3rd season in charge of the DII Randolph County school.
