Payton Smith will gift-match the first $25,000 in gifts
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Athletics welcomes all Herd fans to participate in 'Giving Tuesday' on Dec. 3 as we all celebrate being a part of Herd Nation and come together as one to support Marshall Athletics.
We are incredibly grateful for all our donors, including Payton Smith, who has generously agreed to match the first $25,000 of 'Giving Tuesday' donations made to help us achieve our goal of $50,000.
"Any act of generosity is uplifting and connects our Marshall family even more. We can make a tremendous impact on our student athletes directly, and Giving Tuesday highlights the opportunity," said Devin Miller, Marshall Athletic Fund Director. "So come invest in the future championships and future leaders of our communities."
New for 2024, any donation of $100 or more will receive a special Marshall Holiday ornament.
All gifts given on Giving Tuesday 2024 will be directed to the Marshall Athletic Fund, which supports our greatest needs. These contributions help provide scholarships, nutrition, strength and conditioning, equipment, and sports medicine for our student-athletes.
'Giving Tuesday' is always a meaningful day for us, and we hope you'll consider supporting our efforts.
