Kluemper announces complete staff for BG after final addition
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Athletics welcomed Evan Norris as the Big Green Scholarship Foundations' Director of Major Gifts last month.
Norris comes to Marshall after working for the Richmond Group during the last two years. Previously, he also worked for Ole Miss and Virginia Tech.
"Since taking the reins of the Big Green Scholarship Foundation, I have remained steadfast in my commitment to identifying talented individuals, investing in their development, and positioning them to succeed," said Teddy Kluemper III, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Championship Resources and Executive Director of the Big Green Scholarship Foundation. "We feel that Evan is a terrific asset to the Big Green and we look forward to seeing the great things he can accomplish as part of our team."
In his role at the Richmond Group, Norris served as both Client Relationship Manager and Recruiter/Project Coordinator, giving him valuable relationship-building experience that made him a great fit for the Big Green.
His experience working in player personnel at Ole Miss and Virginia Tech also gives him insight as to how to further connect the community with Marshall student-athletes to further strengthen the bond between the Big Green Scholarship Foundation members and Marshall Athletics.
The addition of Norris helps complete the Big Green Scholarship Foundation staff, which now has its eyes set on building the donor base and continuing the upward trend of generating resources for the athletics department's vision of building the best all-around athletics department in the country.
"Building a strong team has always been one of my highest priorities because I firmly believe that great organizations are built by great people," Kluemper said. "I am incredibly proud of our staff and grateful for their dedication, professionalism and unwavering commitment to Marshall University and our student-athletes."
