HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Traveling back to the Sunshine State for the second time in as many weeks, Marshall's women's basketball team (3-4) faces the SEC's Florida Gators (5-4).
Tip from the O'Connell Center in Gainesville is set for 2 p.m. Sunday.

Coach Juli Fulks
- On Apr. 12, 2024, Coach Juli Fulks became the ninth head coach in the history of the Herd.
- Fulks - the 2024 WBCA DIII Coach of the Year - joins Marshall with 400 career victories in 20 seasons, winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.
PRE-GAME NOTES
- The Herd returns to the Sunshine State after splitting a pair of contests two hours south in Kissimmee for the WBCA Showcase last month. MU lost to Penn State before defeating Tulsa in overtime behind Aislynn Hayes's career-high 31 points, earning Hayes Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week.
- Marshall enters the Florida contest coming off a 98-41 win over Salem. The team secured 60 rebounds, its most in a game since 2018.
- The Herd had two double-doubles in the win, the first in the career for Meredith Maier (15 pts. 11 reb.) and first Marshall double-double for Blessing King (10 pts. 15 reb.). The 15 boards were the most by a Marshall player since New Year's Eve in the 2022-23 season.
- Sunday will be Marshall's second true road contest after opening the season with a 71-68 defeat at Toledo.
- Marshall defeated Florida at the Cam Henderson Center last season, 91-88 in the first meeting between the programs. At the time, it was Marshall's first win over a Power-Five program since 2016.

ABOUT FLORIDA
- Florida defeated Clemson Thursday night in the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Gators are 5-4 this season.
- Liv McGill leads a trio of double-digit scorers with 17.0 PPG. Ra Shaya Kyle and Jerriah Warren follow closely behind in the scoring category with 16.4 and 16.0 points per contest.
