Herd Tennis to Host Texas State and Louisiana This Weekend

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Tennis team (13-6, 4-1 Sun Belt) welcomes Texas State (9-3, 3-1 Sun Belt) on Thursday and Louisiana (4-7, 1-4 Sun Belt) on Sunday for a pair of matches this weekend.
 
Thursday's match against Texas State has been moved back to 11 a.m. due to cold weather projected in the morning.

Be sure to come to both matches for free donuts prior to each contest.

  • Marshall is on a four-match winning streak after winning at Arkansas State and at ULM last weekend.
  • At number singles, Doroteja Joksovic is 11-6 this spring.
  • Johanna Strom and Emma Vanderheyden are 10-6 this season when competing at number one doubles.
 
SCOUTING TEXAS STATE
  • The Bobcats are coming off a 4-2 win at James Madison on Saturday.
  • Callie Creath is 9-2 in singles this spring, including 6-1 at number singles.
 
SCOUTING LOUISIANA
  • The Ragin' Cajuns have dropped the team's last four matches.
  • Louisiana is set for a match at App State on Thursday before traveling to Huntington.
