Herd Track and Field Competes at UVA Challenge Friday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — With two meets remaining before the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships, the Marshall track and field teams travel back to Charlottesville for the UVA Challenge.

Marshall is coming off a week in which the team competed at the JMU Invite, competing against SBC competition three weeks before the league's outdoor championships in Monroe, La. next month.
"It was nice because we got to see what area [SBC competition] are good at and how we can compete with them," Marshall sophomore distance runner Hannah Wyler said. "They have pretty good runners on the distance side, so it is always nice to see how they compete and how we can compete with them."
