Fans invited to join Marshall Football players at Cam Henderson Center to get first look at return of popular video game

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Athletics is inviting fans to join Marshall Football athletes and coaches for an EA College Football 2025 Launch Party at 7 p.m. on July 16 at Cam Henderson Center.
The event, which takes place three days before the game goes out to the public on July 19, celebrates the return of the most popular video game in the EA catalog after more than a decade-long absence.
"The re-launch of this game is an exciting day for college football fans everywhere," said Ryan Crisp, Associate Athletics Director for Annual Giving, Ticket Sales and Fan Engagement. "What a great opportunity for our fans to interact with our 2024 football team while also getting a first look at the game. This is what we mean when we say Fans First!"
There will be three TVs set up on the Henderson Center floor where select fans will take on Marshall Football players from 7:15 to 8:20 p.m. before a featured Main Event that will put a Marshall offensive player against a Marshall defensive player at 8:25 p.m.
Fans who are looking to sign up for the event can register HERE.
Not only will Marshall fans get their first chance to see the game, but they will also get to interact with Marshall Football student-athletes who will be playing the game which features their name, image and likeness.
Marshall Athletics will be giving away 250 custom EA College Football 2025 posters and 100 custom EA College Football 25 game covers at the event.
There will also be a backdrop set up for fans to take photos with Marshall head coach Charles Huff and players in attendance. Tables will also be set up for fans to get player autographs.
