HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Swimming and Diving team opens the season with its annual Green and White Meet on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium.
This season's team features 26 student-athletes, including eight freshmen. Among the returners on the swimming side are Paige Banton, the 100 and 200 Breaststroke Sun Belt Champion and 100 Breaststroke SBC record holder, Eszter Laban, the 500 and 1650 Freestyle SBC Champion, Madeline Hart, the 200 Butterfly SBC Champion, and Molly Warner, who was the 2023-24 SBC Co-Freshman of the Year.
Returning on the diving side of the program is Grace Kelsheimer, who went to NCAA Diving Zones in the 1m and 3m dives along with setting the 1m program diving record and becoming the first finalist at Zones in the event.
