HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Men's Basketball team (10-8, 3-2 SBC) hits the road after concluding a four-game homestand with contests at James Madison (9-8, 2-3 SBC) on Thursday and at Coastal Carolina (8-9, 1-4 SBC).

Opening tip against the Dukes is set for 7 p.m. with a 3:30 p.m. tipoff against Chanticleers.

PRE-GAME NOTES

Marshall finished its homestand with a 3-1 record after an 81-69 win over the Georgia Southern Eagles on Saturday.
With 18 points and 13 rebounds, Nate Martin recorded his third double-double of the season in the victory.
Jalen Speer hit his first 10 threes last weekend going 7-for-7 against JMU and making his first three against GS.
The Herd enters the weekend averaging the third-most points in the conference at 75.5 per game.

ABOUT THE DUKES

JMU enters the weekend on a two-game losing streak after falling to The Herd Thursday in Huntington and at App State on Saturday.
The Dukes rank second in rebound margin in the conference as they outrebound their opponents by 6.4 boards per contest.
James Madison also holds the third-best three-point shooting percentage in the league at 35.2 percent.

ABOUT THE CHANTICLEERS

Coastal fell in a pair of road contests last week at App State on Wednesday and at Georgia State on Saturday.
The Chanticleers play host to Georgia Southern on Thursday before welcoming Marshall on Saturday.
CCU holds teams to just 29.8 percent from three-point range, the second-best in the SBC.
