HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Men's Basketball team (10-8, 3-2 SBC) hits the road after concluding a four-game homestand with contests at James Madison (9-8, 2-3 SBC) on Thursday and at Coastal Carolina (8-9, 1-4 SBC).
Opening tip against the Dukes is set for 7 p.m. with a 3:30 p.m. tipoff against Chanticleers.

- Marshall finished its homestand with a 3-1 record after an 81-69 win over the Georgia Southern Eagles on Saturday.
- With 18 points and 13 rebounds, Nate Martin recorded his third double-double of the season in the victory.
- Jalen Speer hit his first 10 threes last weekend going 7-for-7 against JMU and making his first three against GS.
- The Herd enters the weekend averaging the third-most points in the conference at 75.5 per game.
ABOUT THE DUKES
- JMU enters the weekend on a two-game losing streak after falling to The Herd Thursday in Huntington and at App State on Saturday.
- The Dukes rank second in rebound margin in the conference as they outrebound their opponents by 6.4 boards per contest.
- James Madison also holds the third-best three-point shooting percentage in the league at 35.2 percent.
