Coach Juli Fulks
- On Apr. 12, 2024, Coach Juli Fulks became the ninth head coach in the history of the Herd.
- Fulks - the 2024 WBCA DIII Coach of the Year - joins Marshall with 400 career victories in 20 seasons, winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.
PRE-GAME NOTES
- CC Mays scored a career-high 24 points Wednesday night against JMU. The junior guard is averaging 10.0 PPG for the Herd.
- Aislynn Hayes is the Sun Belt Conference scoring leader with 16.7 PPG. Hayes collected her 1,500th career point earlier this month.
- Marshall is second in the Sun Belt Conference with 166 made 3-point field goals.

ABOUT APP STATE
- App State is 8-8 overall with a 4-2 league record. The Mountaineers are led by first-year head coach, Alaura Sharp.
- Zada Porter and Emily Carver lead a balanced App scoring attack with 10.3 PPG and 10.2 PPG respectively.
- Former Herd forward Samantha LaFon has played in 13 games in her senior season in Boone.
- Saturday will be the 50th meeting all-time between Marshall and App State, the most of any current SBC member. App leads the series, 25-24 but Marshall had the upper hand last season, winning twice in the regular season and again in the SBC Quarterfinals.
