HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall's women's basketball team continues its road trip at the newly-built Jack and Ruth Ann Convocation Center in Statesboro Saturday against the Georgia Southern Eagles.
Tip between the Herd (6-15, 1-9 SBC) and Eagles (9-13, 2-8 SBC) is set for 1 p.m.

Coach Juli Fulks
- On Apr. 12, 2024, Coach Juli Fulks became the ninth head coach in the history of the Herd.
- Fulks - the 2024 WBCA DIII Coach of the Year - joins Marshall with 400 career victories in 20 seasons, winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.
PRE-GAME NOTES
- Marshall connected on seven three-point field goals in the opening quarter Wednesday night at Coastal, its most in a single quarter since the Herd last played in Statesboro last season.
- Senior Madison Kellione scored 11 in the contest Wednesday at the Chanticleers. She enters the weekend with 1,433 career points.
- The Herd is seeking its first true road victory of the season. Marshall did win an overtime contest against Tulsa in Orlando in November.
- Marshall leads the all-time series, 11-10 over Georgia Southern. The Herd claimed a victory over the Eagles in Huntington on Jan. 22.

ABOUT GEORGIA SOUTHERN
- The Eagles are 9-13 overall and 2-8 in league play with defeats to App State and JMU since the team played the Herd last week.
- Indya Green - who led the team with 14 in the contest in Huntington last week - is the team's leading rebounder with 6.7 per game.
