"Our team has been incredibly resilient all year," Head Coach Juli Fulks said. "We had a great start and then kind of similar to the other night we had a run of turnovers that put us back in a hole." "We went offense-defense the entire second half and had a group that could really go all-in on defense and really keep the tempo up and got a lot of steals. I give our team a lot of credit, they were willing to push through and find a way to contribute."

Offensively, CC Mays led the way with a career-high 25 points on 9-of-18 shooting in her 100th career-game for the Thundering Herd. Mays kept the Herd - who trailed by as much as nine early - in the game with 11 first-half points.
Marshall closes its three-game road trip at Louisiana on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. eastern.
