LAFAYETTE, La. – Marshall's women's basketball (7-16, 2-10 SBC) rallied from 14 down in the second half to lead late, but a hosts' game-tying three late in regulation was enough to see the Ragin' Cajuns (10-11, 6-6 SBC) through to a 92-88 overtime victory Wednesday evening.
For the second-consecutive game, CC Mays scored a new career-high with 27 points which led the Herd Wednesday.

Marshall led by three late in regulation following a pair of Leyocha Marigney free throws. The Cajuns sent the game to the overtime period courtesy of the aforementioned fadeaway corner three.
The Herd comes home for the MAC-SBC Challenge Saturday at home against Central Michigan. Tip is at 1 p.m. for the annual Sweetheart Clinic game.
