HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall women's basketball (7-15, 2-9 SBC) travels for the first time to the Cajundome to take on Louisiana (9-11, 5-6 SBC).

Coach Juli Fulks
- On Apr. 12, 2024, Coach Juli Fulks became the ninth head coach in the history of the Herd.
- Fulks - the 2024 WBCA DIII Coach of the Year - joins Marshall with 400 career victories in 20 seasons, winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.
PRE-GAME NOTES
- Marshall's CC Mays played in her milestone 100th career-game for the Herd on Saturday. Mays celebrated by scoring a career-high 25 points to lead MU to its first true-road win of the season.
- For Marshall, Saturday also marked its first victory when its opponent shot greater than 50 percent. The Herd forced a season-high 32 turnovers to combat the Georgia Southern shooting in the win.
- Senior guard Aislynn Hayes remains the league's leading scorer with 16.9 PPG. Hayes now leads her team with 12 games this season as the Herd's leader in assists.
- Marshall leads the all-time series, 2-0 over Louisiana. The Herd won 74-42 in Huntington last season.

ABOUT LOUISIANA
- The Ragin' Cajuns are 9-11 with a 5-6 league record. Head Coach Gary Brodhead is in his 13th season in Lafayette.
- Erica Lafayette is averaging 14.6 PPG to lead UL.
- The Cajuns are the top-scoring defense in the league, giving up 61.9 PPG.
