Dawkins Scores Top-10 Finish in Herd XC’s Final Race Before Conference Championship

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Marshall Cross Country saw both its men's and women's teams finish 3rd Friday at the Bowling Green Falcon Invitational in its final meet before the Sun Belt Conference Championships.
"Proud of our groups as we closed out the regular season," Head Coach Caleb Bowen said. "We ran against some really good teams which was perfect prep as we head into the conference championship meet."
Junior Brady Dawkins led the men with a 9th place finish overall in the Men's 8K race, posting a time of 25:36. Senior Hannah Wyler led the women finishing 13th.
"It was great seeing Hannah Wyler and Brady Dawkins lead the team today. We also had several breakout performances, two of which being Asha Bora and Maxton Sowers," Coach Bowen added.
Bora and Taylor Spencer raced personal records for the Herd on Friday. Freshman Conner Myers also set a new best time for the men.
I'm excited to get our last few workouts to fine tune the group for the Sun Belt Championship here in two weeks.
