"I am excited to get on the course," Director Keith Roberts said. "Both our men's and women's teams have been working hard and expect some great performances. The growth and mindset of our team is at a new level.
The defending individual female champion is Kylee Mastin from Marshall. The now-graduated Mastin was Marshall's first individual female cross country champion in program history. As a team, the Herd women finished 3rd last year. The program would be seeking its first conference team title. The Herd men are looking to build on its 6th place finish in 2024.Â
"It is a flat, multiple-loop course which provides opportunities to offer some guidance," Cross Country Coach Caleb Bowen said. "It is a great course that the Sun Belt has made, they have a great production so we are excited."Â
