Marshall Volleyball Travels for Key Matches at Georgia State

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Volleyball team (11-10, 3-5 SBC) heads to Atlanta for a pair of key Sun Belt Conference road matches against Georgia State this weekend. Friday's match is scheduled for 6 p.m. with Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Herd is coming off a home weekend sweep of ULM this weekend.
Marshall sits at third in the Sun Belt with 1,128 digs and fifth in team kills at 950.
At 563 assists, Bella Thompson ranks fourth in the SBC this season.

SCOUTING GEORGIA STATE

The Panthers split a pair of matches on the road last weekend at Old Dominion.
Georgia State holds its opponents to a .165 hitting percentage, 18th best in the country and third in the Sun Belt.
Marta Lazzarin leads the conference and ranks 23rd nationally with 352 digs. Lazzarin averages 5.18 per set, sixth best in the country.
