Meet set to begin Saturday at 10 a.m. with diving
Championship Fund
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Swimming and Diving team heads to Harrisonburg, Virginia, for a dual meet against the James Madison Dukes on Saturday. The meet is set to begin with diving at 10 a.m.

Sophomore Lauren McNamara and freshman Maddie Emment earned American Conference weekly honors on Tuesday with McNamara being named Swimmer of the Week and Emment earning Freshman Swimmer of the Week.
At the Herd's tri meet in Athens against Ohio and Buffalo, McNamara won the 200 Butterfly with a school record time of 1:58.35, also top in the American, with a second-place finish in the 100 Butterfly (54.52), second fastest in the American. The Flat Rock, Michigan, native also swam splits of 53.75 in Butterfly of the of 400 Medley Relay, with a 24.21 split during the 200 Medley Relay.
Emment had another great meet at Ohio winning the 1000 Freestyle in 10:05.53 and picked up a victory in the 500 Freestyle in 4:56.70, the second and third-fastest times in the American.
The English swimmer also took second in the 200 Freestyle in 1:50.94, the third fastest time in the American this season. The freshman also swam Freestyle splits of 51.12 in the 400 Freestyle Relay and 51.03 in Freestyle during the 400 Medley Relay.
