HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Following a season-opening victory over Buffalo, Marshall Women's Basketball (1-0) is back at home to face Northern Kentucky (0-0). The Herd and Norse tip at 6 p.m. Thursday evening from the Cam Henderson Center.

COACH JULI FULKS
- Head Coach Juli Fulks is in year two leading Marshall's Women's Basketball program. Fulks came to the Herd with a prestigious 400 wins while leading Transylvania to the 2022-23 DIII National Championship.
- Fulks and the Herd set a program record with four postseason wins in its run during the 2025 Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship.
PREGAME NOTES
- The Herd returns eight players from a season ago. Among the leaders in returning production is senior Meredith Maier, who was named Preseason All-SBC Third Team last month. Fellow senior Blessing King led Marshall with 11 rebounds in Monday's opener.
- Six newcomers join MU - including four transfers and two freshmen. First-year guard Olivia Olson led the Herd in scoring with 14 points Monday night.

ABOUT THE NORSE
- Northern Kentucky opens its 2025-26 campaign after finishing 11-21 (8-12 Horizon League) last season.
- NKU enters season two under Head Coach Jeff Hans. Fulks and Hans each won a DIII National Championship, Hans with the Thomas More Saints won the 2016 title, while Fulks won with Transylvania in 2023. The two sides met in the 2019 NCAA DIII Tournament.
- The Norse were picked sixth in the Horizon League preseason poll. Senior guard Mya Meredith earned Preseason All-League First Team honors for the Horizon.
- NKU leads the all-time series, 7-1. The Norse won with a late corner 3-pointer in Huntington last season, 80-78.
