PREMATCH NOTES
- The Herd captured a 4-3 home win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Sunday.
- Sophia Hurrion was honored as the Sun Belt Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance against Wake. The senior is off to a hot start sporting a 5-0 record at No. 4 singles and a 3-0 mark at No. 2 doubles with a pair of wins alongside Alina Mokrynskaya and one with Aisling McGrane.
- Johanna Strom is 4-1 in singles, including 3-1 at the No. 1 position, as Emma Vanderheyden is 3-1 at No. 2 singles.
SCOUTING INDIANA
- The Hoosiers are coming off a 4-0 loss at Virginia Tech last weekend seeing a three-match winning streak come to an end.
- IU's three-match winning streak included victories over Cincinnati, Butler and Southern Indiana.
SCOUTING MIAMI (OH)
- The RedHawks started its season last weekend falling to Youngstown State 6-1 and Cleveland State 4-3.
- Sara Zalukar is 2-0 at No. 1 doubles playing a match each with Nishitha Saravanan and Emilia Valentinsson.
