LYNCHBURG, Va. - Marshall Track & Field is entering the homestretch of Indoor Season in style, with three additional wins Saturday to add on to its three won Friday at the Liberty Open.
Kylee Mastin won the 800 Saturday to keep her foot on top of the Sun Belt Conference Performance List. The Herd's Evan Weder won a jump-off in Men's High Jump to take home the other individual win.
Marshall also won the unique Shuttle Hurdles Relay race with the team of Jakai Hayes, Peter Oliveira Jason Ravelo, Tavon Simmons-Roberts, Micah Hinton.
"I thought we had a great weekend," Director of Track & Field Keith Roberts said. "We had a lot of meet winners, the 1K, Weight, Top-3 finisher in the Long Jump so we were very excited about that. Then today we came in and had a winner in the 800. But we also had a lot of PR's, heat winners, people moving up in the conference rankings. So I'm just excited with our team and how we're developing across the board in every event area."
