Marshall Women’s Golf Has Four Named CSC Academic All-District

McLatchey, Kochan, Bull, Borders all earn honors for student-athlete success

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Women's Golf had four players honored by College Sports Communicators for their academic excellence this year.

Four players earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors: senior Emily McLatchey, juniors Abbey Bull and Olivia Kochan and sophomore Madison Borders.

To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, athletes must have a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average and compete in 70 percent of team competitions throughout the course of a calendar year.

This quartet of players was also part of a Marshall Women's Golf program that posted a 3.94 Team GPA for the entire 2024-25 year, which led all Marshall Athletics programs in the academic realm.
