Marshall Football Has Six Players Named CSC Academic All-District

These players helped pave the way for team’s record GPA in Fall 2025
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Football had six players named as 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections, the CSC announced on Tuesday.
Those players were offensive linemen Eric Meeks, Evan Ferguson and Christian Richter, wide receiver Ben Turner, running back Justin Williams-Thomas and defensive back Pete Schuh.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, athletes must have a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average and compete in 90 percent of competition or start in 66 percent of an institution's games.
These six players also helped pave the way for Marshall Football to finish Fall 2025 with a record-breaking 3.18 Team GPA.

Evan Ferguson       GPA: 3.74    Major: Sociology
Eric Meeks             GPA: 3.63    Major: MBA – Business Administration
Pete Schuh            GPA: 3.73    Major: Business
Justin Williams-Thomas    GPA: 4.0      Major: MBA – Business Administration
Christian Richter    GPA: 3.55    Major: Finance
Ben Turner            GPA: 3.58    Major: Biological Science
