Herd Swimming and Diving Readies for American Conference Championship

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Swimming and Diving team is set to compete in the American Conference Championship February 18 through February 21 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This is the Herd's first American Swimming and Diving Championship after joining as an affiliate member in 2025.

Entering the Championships, Lauren McNamara, an American Swimmer of the Week winner, holds the fastest time among all swimmers in the conference in the 200 Butterfly at 1:58.35 and is 10th fastest in the 100 at 54.32.

Two-time American Freshman Swimmer of the Week Winner Maddie Emment has the fourth fastest time in the 1650 Freestyle (16:48.51) in the conference and is eighth in the 200 Freestyle (1:49.03).

Freshman Elyse Wood ranks third in the conference in 100 Freestyle (49.61), seventh in the 100 Butterfly (54.13), and eighth in the 50 Freestyle (22.85).

In the 400 IM, Molly Warner's 4:17.83 is the third-fastest time in the American during the 2025-26 season.

On the 1m boards, Ally Humbert's 225.83 is the 16th-best score among all divers in the conference this season.
